Promoexplore is a portrait photography service based in Cairns, QLD. Every session is shaped around what the client actually needs — their context, their goals, their face.
There are no preset packages or studio templates. Each portrait is approached with the same attention a documentary photographer would give a single subject over hours. Lighting, location, and post-processing are all chosen specifically for each individual.

Brigitte spent six years shooting editorial portraits for regional publications before moving to Cairns. She focuses on natural-light sessions and works primarily outdoors, reading environments quickly and finding angles that feel uncontrived.
Declan's background is in commercial studio work — he understands controlled light, colour grading, and how to translate a brief into something technically precise. He handles the studio-based sessions and oversees the post-processing workflow across all projects.
Each client gets a short intake conversation before any booking is confirmed. That discussion covers purpose, preferred setting, and any specific requirements — professional headshot, personal project, or something less defined.
Sessions run between 60 and 90 minutes. Edited selections are delivered via a private gallery within 48 hours. Additional retouching is available on request at no fixed rate — the scope depends entirely on what the images need.
No client images are shared publicly without written permission. Every gallery is password-protected and accessible only to the person commissioned the session.
Pricing is discussed per session based on duration, location logistics, and any post-processing requirements. There are no tiered bundles that assume what you need.
Sessions happen at Cairns High School and surrounds, or at a client-chosen location within the city. Studio and outdoor options are both available year-round.
Sessions are never double-booked or grouped. One photographer, one client per appointment. The time and attention of the session belongs entirely to you.
